Use card wall

A card wall provides a customizable view of an iteration. You can view information on a card wall and modify the card wall to display only the details you need.

View request details

When the card wall is displayed, you can view a request's details.

To view request details:

  1. From the spaces list at the top right, select a space.

  2. On the Products page, open a product.

  3. In the sidebar, select Iterations.
  4. Open an iteration and display the card wall.

  5. Select a card. The request's details are displayed on the right.

Create space on card wall

You can create space on a card wall and display only the required information by:

  • Collapsing request types
  • Collapsing lifecycle states
  • Using compact cards
  • Hiding the metrics and burndown/burnup charts

To work with a card wall:

  1. From the spaces list at the top right, select a space.

  2. On the Products page, open a product.

  3. In the sidebar, select Iterations.
  4. Open an iteration and display the card wall.

  5. To collapse a request type, toggle the arrow on the left.

  6. To collapse a lifecycle state, hover over the column title and click the collapse icon .

  7. At the bottom of the card wall, click Show charts and/or Show compact cards.

Group requests

You can group requests on the card wall by users. This enables you to:

  • See how many requests and story points are allocated to each user.

  • Identify users who may be struggling to complete their work.

To group requests by users:

  1. From the spaces list at the top right, select a space.

  2. On the Products page, open a product.

  3. In the sidebar, select Iterations.
  4. Open an iteration and display the card wall.
  5. At the bottom of the card wall, click Group by user.

View off-normal request states

Off-normal request lifecycle states are not displayed by default.

Note: Normal states follow a progressive path through a lifecycle. Off-normal states are not located on that path.

To view off-normal request states:

  1. From the spaces list at the top right, select a space.

  2. On the Products page, open a product.

  3. In the sidebar, select Iterations.
  4. Open an iteration and display the card wall.
  5. At the bottom of the card wall, select Show off-normal states. If an off-normal state column is collapsed, click the expand icon to expand it.
