Connect to ALM Octane
To integrate with ALM Octane, first connect an ALM Octane instance to PulseUno.
Note: Administrator permissions required.
Integration overview
You can connect one or more ALM Octane instances to PulseUno.
After you set up a connection, you can:

Relate Git commits to ALM Octane work items by references in the commit messages. For details, see Enable ALM Octane requests.

Synchronize the phases of ALM Octane work items with the states of PulseUno reviews and pull requests. For details, see Synchronize with ALM Octane work items.

Configure a chain to send chain results to ALM Octane and display them in ALM Octane as a pipeline. For details, see Publish chain results to ALM Octane.
Connect ALM Octane instance
As an administrator, you can connect ALM Octane workspaces to PulseUno.
To set up a connection to ALM Octane:

In PulseUno, navigate to Administration
> Connections.

On the Connections page, click New Connection
and select ALM Octane from the list.

Provide the details for the new connection:
Field Description Title Enter a name for the ALM Octane connection. Web URL Enter the base path to the ALM Octane space, for example, https://octane.example.com.
Tip: Open any page in the ALM Octane shared space, and copy and paste its URL from the web browser. PulseUno automatically fills in the Shared Space field.
API Token Enter the Client ID key generated in ALM Octane. For details about creating API access keys in ALM Octane, see the ALM Octane help. Secret Enter the Client Secret key generated in ALM Octane. For details about creating API access keys in ALM Octane, see the ALM Octane help. Shared space If not prefilled, enter the ID of the ALM Octane shared space to which you want to connect, for example, 1001. PulseUno instance ID Enter the instance ID of the PulseUno CI server configured in ALM Octane. By default, PulseUno uses the default instance ID assigned in ALM Octane. Note: If you connect several ALM Octane instances, ensure that each connection has a unique instance IDs.

Click Save.
A working connection is displayed with the Connected status.
