View and share chains

You can view the chains added to a stream or branch. Export chains if you need to share them with your team. You can also import chains created by others.

View the chain list

You can view and filter the list of chains in a stream or branch. Open a chain to view its details.

To view chains:

  1. On the top navigation bar, select a space from the spaces list.
  2. On the Products page, open a product or Git repository.
  3. On the sidebar, select Chains. The chain list opens.
  4. By default, PulseUno displays all chains. To hide disabled chains and/or chains without runs, select the relevant option from the Showing all menu.

  5. To sort chains by date, click Sort by and select one of the date options, for example, Created date. By default, chains are sorted by name.

    You can also sort in ascending or descending order.

  6. By default, each chain row displays basic information about the chain. To collapse the view and display only the chain's name, state, and date of the last run, switch the view to Compact View .
  7. To open the chain and view its results, configuration, and steps, click the chain's name. For details, see View chain runs.

Share chains

You can download chain contents to your machine and share them with others. You can also import chains to PulseUno.

To export a chain:

  1. On the top navigation bar, select a space from the spaces list.
  2. On the Products page, open a product or Git repository.
  3. On the sidebar, select Chains.
  4. In the chain list, select a chain, and click Export Chain on the toolbar.

    The chain is downloaded automatically.

  5. Open the downloads directory on your machine and find the .chain file.

To import a chain:

  1. On the top navigation bar, select a space from the spaces list.
  2. On the Products page, open a product or Git repository.
  3. On the sidebar, select Chains.
  4. On the Chains page, click Import Chain .
  5. In the Import Chain dialog box, drag and drop the .chain file onto the upload area.

    Or navigate to the directory containing the .chain file, select the file, and click Open.

  6. Click Import.
