Application Lifecycle Management Connection Dialog Box

Note: This dialog box is only available if you log in using ALM.

This pane enables you to configure your connection to Application Lifecycle Management.

To access

Do one of the following:

  • In the main window, click the Application Lifecycle Management button .

  • In the status bar, double-click the Application Lifecycle Management icon .
Important information

  • The server Address must be entered in the format: http://<Application Lifecycle Management server name>[<:port number>]/qcbin.

  • Your Application Lifecycle Management connection status is displayed in the status bar. When you are connected to Application Lifecycle Management, the Application Lifecycle Management icon is active and when you are disconnected it is deactivated.

  • The Domain and Project fields are not case-sensitive.

  • If your connection to Application Lifecycle Management is lost and there are tests in the Test Runs list, you must reconnect to the same project to run or save the tests.
  • If you are connecting to a version of ALM that has a single sign-on mechanism, the User name and password fields will be disabled.
