Link Existing Defect Dialog Box

Note: This dialog box is only available if you log in using ALM.

This dialog box enables you to link a test run to an existing defect in Application Lifecycle Management.

UI Example
Click the thumbnail to view a full size image.
To access

During a test run, from the Tools sidebar, click the down arrow next to the Defect drop down, and select Link existing defect.

Important information

  • To link to a test run, enter an existing defect ID and click Find defect in ALM. Once the defect is retrieved, click More Details .

  • To view the linked defects, go to the user action in the Storyboard Window for which the defect was created.
