Data Injection pane

This tab enables you to define the data sets to be available for data injection during a test run. Data sets can be .xls, .xlsx, or .csv files.

You can also delete data sets, define which fields to inject, and in which order.

To view the Data Injection pane, click the Application Settings button and expand the Data Injection section.

The Data Injection options are described below:

Command

Description

Add Local Data Set

Drop-down options:

  • Add Local Data Set. Opens the Data Set Details dialog box, enabling you to define a new data set for your application from your file system.

  • Add from ALM. Opens the Data Set Details dialog box, enabling you to define a new data set for your application from your Application Lifecycle Management Resources folder.

Set Properties

Opens the Data Set Details dialog box, enabling you set the name and location of the data set.

Manage Fields

Opens the Manage (& Map) Fields dialog box, enabling you to define the fields to inject, and in which order.

Delete

Removes the selected data set from your application.
