View and manage devices

Manage the devices connected to your tenant by assigning specific devices to specific workspaces. This enables you to ensure that specific devices are reserved for specific workspaces and users.

Devices allocated as Shared are available to all workspaces in the tenant.

Manage mobile devices from within your workspace

Tab: Workspace > DEVICES tab; SRF Admins only.

View the devices assigned to your workspace, and move them to other workspaces as needed.

Do the following:

  1. In the workspaces tree, select your workspace, and then click the DEVICES tab at the top.

    This tab displays all devices assigned to the selected workspace. If you need to, use the search box to search for devices by OS version, model name, device name, or workspace.

  2. To move a device to a different workspace, select a device row in the grid, and click MOVE at the top-right.

    In the MOVE DEVICE dialog, select the device's new workspace, and then click MOVE.

    The device's assigned workspace is updated in the grid.

    Tip: Select Shared to make the device available for all workspaces.

Manage mobile devices across workspaces

Tab: Admin management > DEVICES tab; SRF Admins only.

View all devices in the tenant, and the workspaces they are assigned to. Move devices between workspaces as needed.

Do the following:

  1. At the top of the workspace tree, click Admin management, and then click the DEVICES tab at the top.

    This tab displays all devices assigned to the selected workspace. If you need to, use the search box to search for devices by OS version, model name, device name, or workspace.

  2. To move a device to a different workspace, select a device row in the grid, and click MOVE at the top-right.

  3. In the MOVE DEVICE dialog, select the device's new workspace, and then click MOVE.

    Tip: Select Shared to make the device available for all workspaces.
