What is a topology?

A topology represents the relationship between the network components of your application. For example, an application may have the following architecture:

Group several servers as a single topology. Add the topology to your test definition and monitor its performance during the test run.

Create a topology

Do one of the following:

Action How to
  1. Click Create to open the New Topology dialog box.
  2. Name the new topology.
  3. Select servers from the grid to add to the new topology.

  1. Select a topology.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Update topology details.
  1. Select a topology.
  2. Click Duplicate.
