What is a topology?

A topology represents the relationship between the network components of your application. You can group several servers as a single topology, add the topology to your test definition, and monitor its performance during the test run.

Create a topology

To create a topology, select Assets > Topology.

Do one of the following:

  1. Click Create to open the New Topology dialog box.
  2. Name the new topology.
  3. Select servers from the grid to add to the new topology.

  1. Select a topology.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Update topology details.
  1. Select a topology.
  2. Click Duplicate.
