Restoring Folder Selection on Tab Change

When you click a new component tab in the upper right pane, StarTeam gives you the option of retaining the folder currently selected from the folder hierarchy or replacing it with the root folder.

To control folder selection, do the following:

  1. Choose Tools > Personal Options to open the Personal Options dialog box.

  2. Select the Workspace tab.

  3. Do one of the following:

    • Select Restore Folder Selection on Tab Change to retain the currently selected folder when the component tab changes.
    • Clear Restore Folder Selection on Tab Change to select the root folder every time the component tab changes
  4. Click OK.
