Troubleshooting

This error on Windows/Linux is mostly due to GIT unable to locate the git-remote-starteam file

c:\TestGit\GitProject1>git push
git: 'remote-starteam' is not a git command. See 'git --help'. 

To fix it, add the StarTeam Cross-Platform Client installation path to the PATH variable.

Changing StarTeam user credentials to connect on Microsoft Windows

If the password needs to be changed, or if a different user needs to be used in the git clone/push/pull commands, go to Control Panel > Credential Manager > Manage windows credentials.
