Add Data Format Dialog Box

This dialog box enables you to add a new data format to your service description. You can copy from an existing URI space, or create a new format.

To access
  1. In the Service Description Editor, in the operations pane on the left side, select a URI space.
  2. Under Request or Response Data Format, click Add.

UI Element Description
URI Space Enter the path of the existing URI space you want to copy.
Data Format Lists supported data formats.
Type

The data format types available in the schema.

Available for XML data format only.
External File Opens the Import XML Schema dialog box, enabling you to import a schema from an external file.
