Starting and stopping Service Virtualization
This section explains how to start (and stop) the OpenText Service Virtualization applications. For more details on each component, see Install.
Starting on Windows
This section describes how to start the various components of OpenText Service Virtualization on Windows.

OpenText Service Virtualization Designer | From the Windows Start menu, select Service Virtualization Designer. |
OpenText Service Virtualization Server |
Do one of the following:
Note: The OpenText Service Virtualization Server can be configured as either secured or unsecured. To prevent unauthorized access, it may be configured as secured. For additional details and configuration information on the OpenText Service Virtualization Server, see Authenticate the SV Server. |
Service Virtualization Management |
To start the Service Virtualization Management service: On the OpenText Service Virtualization server machine, from the Windows Start menu, access Service Virtualization Management. This starts both the OpenText Service Virtualization Server service and the Service Virtualization Management service. |
Starting and stopping on Linux
This section describes how to start the various services of OpenText Service Virtualization on a Linux machine.
Service Virtualization Server service
To start and stop the Service Virtualization Server service:

Accessing the Service Virtualization Management interface
This section describes how to open the Service Virtualization Management interface in your browser.
Open a browser window and enter one of the following URLs:
