Highlights

OpenText Service Virtualization 25.3 includes many security enhancements, improvements in performance and stability, enhancements to how service calls are managed, along with improved alert capabilities. New port configuration options along with improved virtual service details such as new metrics and runtime details yield an improved user experience.

Security and infrastructure

Feature	Description
Platform	Service Virtualization Server and Service Virtualization Manager now run on .NET 6 on both Windows and Linux platforms.
Bug Fixes and Usability	Improved stability, performance, and fixed issues in SV Designer and SV Server.
Security	Updated libraries to address security vulnerabilities and to enhance stability and protection.

Design and modeling

Feature	Description
Service Call Activities	The service description of the virtual service is now synchronized with the Service Call Activity (SCA). This enhancement allows both the virtual service and the SCA to share and utilize the same schema.
Alerts	Added warning messages to notify users when performing actions that may alter the behavior of a virtual service. These alerts appear when making changes such as reordering rules, changing the order of data rule rows, or modifying condition functions within a data rule.

Rebranding

Installation and other critical files stored under AppData and ProgramData have been relocated to OpenText folders, reflecting the latest branding changes.

Virtual Service Details

Feature	Description
Virtual Service Statistics	Now includes additional metrics: standard deviation, minimum, and maximum response times for improved performance analysis.
Runtime Information	Runtime details now include the following identifiers: data model ID, learnt data rule ID, default response data rule ID, and performance model IDs.

Configuration

Feature	Description
Port Range Configuration	You can now configure HTTP and HTTPS agent port ranges on the Standalone Server, similar to the configuration options available in Service Virtualization Designer. This can be done during installation or via the configuration file.
