Service Virtualization on Linux

As part of the Early access features you can now install Service Virtualization server, SV Management, and SV Lab server on a Linux machine.

Installation Options

You can install Service Virtualization directly on a Linux machine or through a Docker image.

Unsupported protocols

The following protocols are currently not supported by this product:

  • JMS
  • TIBCO EMS
  • Oracle AQ
  • MSMQ
  • WebSphere MQ

Known limitations

The Linux deployment of Service Virtualization has the following limitations:

  • The Designer is not supported
  • ALM integration is not supported
  • ActiveDirectory is not available for Linux. Instead, use LDAP.
  • MTOM is not supported

  • HTTP digest and NTLM authentication over HTTP gateway agent is not supported

  • HTTPS gateway agent (SSL) causes the server to crash when not accessed via SSL

  • WS-Security is not supported
