Analog Recording

What is the Analog Recording Settings dialog box? This dialog box enables you to select whether UFT One records mouse movements or keyboard input relative to the coordinates of your screen, or relative to the coordinates of the specified window.

When should you use the Analog Recording settings dialog box? Use this dialog box to instruct UFT One precisely how to record using analog recording mode.

To access
  1. Do one of the following:

    • Ensure that a GUI test or component is in focus in the document pane.
    • In the Solution Explorer, select a GUI test or component node or one of its child nodes.
  2. Click the Record button to begin a recording session, and do one of the following:

    • Select Analog Recording from the Recording Mode drop down in the Record toolbar.
    • Select Record > Analog Recording.
