What is the Baseline History dialog box? This dialog box enables you to view and compare read-only baseline "snapshots" of an asset.
When should you use the Baseline History dialog box? You should use this dialog to view different baselines of an asset or to compare different baselines.
What do you want to know?
From the list of baselines, select the necessary baseline version and click Get. UFT One pauses for a moment and loads the select baseline of the asset.
When you click Get, UFT One:
- Closes the currently open asset.
- Opens the same asset from the baseline you selected.
Loads the baseline version of the external actions and resource files that are associated with the asset, if any, when they are called.
Note: If an external GUI action or resource file is associated via a relative path, loads the latest version of the action or resource file instead of the version from the baseline.
There are can be multiple baselines for a testing asset, depending on how they are created and saved in ALM.
Yes. Select the different baseline versions of an asset and click Compare. UFT One loads the baselines in the Asset Comparison tool.
