Test Configurations Tab (Properties Pane - BPT)
Relevant for: business process tests
This tab enables you to add test configurations to your test and instruct UFT One how to use the data in the associated test configuration.
Access the Test Configurations tab
Do the following:

In the Solution Explorer, make sure that the business process test for which you want to view properties is selected.

Select View > Properties and select the Test Configurations tab .
General UI elements
The user interface elements described below appear if you are viewing test parameter mapping or component parameter mapping.

Description |

Bound To: |
The name of the data source associated with the current test configuration. |
Filtered Test Data | A grid displaying the parameters values selected as part of the test configuration. This information differs depending on whether you are using static or dynamic data, and what sections of your data source you have specified to use. |
Test Parameters Mapping tab UI elements
The Test Parameters Mapping tab includes the following elements.
Note: The Test Parameters Mapping tab is not shown by default. Expand the Mappings header to view this tab.

Description |

Selected rows (from-to) |
The rows in the first tab of the associated Excel file to use when retrieving data for the test run. |
Map and Filter Test Data: |
The list of all test parameters in the current test. The grid displays the following information: Test Parameters: the exact name of the test parameter as saved with the test. Resource Column: The column in the first sheet of the Excel file to which the test parameter is mapped. Use the drop-down list in this column for each parameter to select the correct column. Filter (Value): The value in the selected column to use for the current test run. Use the drop-down list in this column for each parameter to select the correct value. |
Automap |
Instructs UFT One to automatically match parameter names to a corresponding column in the first sheet of the associated Excel file. Test parameters that are automatically mapped by UFT One display an automap icon next to the parameter name. |
Components Auto Map UI elements
The Components Auto Map tab includes the following elements.

Components |
A list of all components included in the current test. |
Data Mapping Status |
Indicates whether UFT One is able to automatically map the component parameters to the sheets of the Excel file. UFT One displays either Automapped for a successful mapping or Iterations Based for unsuccessful mapping. |
