OracleListOfValues Object

Description

An Oracle window containing a list of values for selection.

Operations

The sections below list the built-in methods and properties that you can use as operations for the OracleListOfValues object.

Note: You can also view a list and descriptions of the OracleListOfValues description properties, for use in object repository descriptions, programmatic descriptions, checkpoint and output value steps, and as argument values for the GetTOProperty and GetROProperty methods.

Methods

Method CancelCloses the List of Values window.
Common Method CaptureBitmapSaves a screen capture of the object as a .png or .bmp image using the specified file name.

Description

Closes the List of Values window.

Click Method

Description

Clicks the specified location with the specified mouse button.

Syntax

object.Click ([x], [y], [BUTTON])

Arguments

ParameterDescription
x Optional. An integer value.
The x-coordinate of the click. Note that the specified coordinates are relative to the upper left corner of the object. 
Default = micNoCoordinate (center of the object).
Default value = -1
y Optional. An integer value.

The y-coordinate of the click. Note that the specified coordinates are relative to the upper left corner of the object.
Default = micNoCoordinate (center of the object).

Tip: You can enter micNoCoordinate for the x and y argument values if you want to enter a value for the button argument without specifying x- and y- coordinates for the click. micNoCoordinate indicates the center of the object.


Default value = -1
BUTTON Optional. A predefined constant or number.
The mouse button used to click the object.
Default value = micLeftBtn

Find Method

Description

Finds the item in the list that matches the specified value.

Syntax

object.Find (Value)

Arguments

ParameterDescription
Value Required. A String value.
The value or prefix to find in the first column of the list.

Return Type

None.

IMPORTANT

UFT One searches in the first column of the list to locate the specified value.
If only one item in the list matches the specified value, it is automatically selected.
If more than one item in the list matches the specified value, all of the matching values are displayed.

InvokeSoftkey Method

Description

Invokes the specified Oracle softkey.

Syntax

object.InvokeSoftkey (Softkey)

Arguments

Softkey Required. A String value.

The softkey function to perform. You can view the functions available in a specific form by pressing Ctrl+K in an Oracle Applications session. Softkey functions are not case sensitive.

Select Method

Description

Selects the specified value from the list.

Syntax

object.Select (Value)

Arguments

ParameterDescription
Value Required. A Variant.
The item to select in the list. The item value (with quotes) or numeric index (without quotes) can denote the item. The first item in a list is numbered 1.

Return Type

None.


If the specified value is not contained in the list, an error is returned.

IMPORTANT

UFT One searches in the first column of the list to locate the specified item. If multiple identical items exist in the first column of the list, UFT One selects the first item that matches the specified value.

To select an item other than the first one, specify the item's index in the Value parameter.

SelectPopupMenu Method

Description

Invoke context menu and select the specified menu option.
