Known issues - Running tests from Azure DevOps

This topic includes known issues when working with the UFT One Azure DevOps extension.

  • After running tests from ALM, tests whose status is Warning are listed in the Extensions tab as Passed.

  • If your Azure DevOps OpenText Functional Testing task fails to connect to an ALM server that requires SSO authentication, contact OpenText Support for assistance.

UFT One Azure DevOps extension versions earlier than 3.x:

  • If your Azure DevOps job fails, and you choose to Rerun failed jobs, the repeated runs use the same build run number. As a result, multiple sets of results are displayed in the Extensions tab for the same build run. This results are not displayed in chronological order.

  • When using the Azure DevOps build run to trigger OpenText Functional Testing tests from ALM Lab Management with hosts configured using the Automatch option, the tests run on the Azure DevOps agent machine, and not on the hosts designated by ALM.

When using the Azure DevOps build run to trigger OpenText Functional Testing tests from ALM Lab Management, the tests run on the Azure DevOps agent machine, and not on the hosts defined in ALM.
