When should you use the Object Mapping dialog box? You should use this dialog box when you have unidentified object classes that need to be mapped to a supported OpenText Functional Testing test object. This dialog box assists you in creating the identification connection so that OpenText Functional Testing recognizes the objects.
To access |
In the Object Identification Dialog Box, select the Standard Windows environment, and click the User Defined button. |
If objects in your application are not being identified correctly by OpenText Functional Testing (either in Object Spy or when learning the objects), click the pointing hand button and then select an object in your application.
OpenText Functional Testing displays the application object's class name in the Class Name edit field, and then you select the Standard Windows class from the Map to drop-down list.
You can map your object to any existing Standard Windows test object.
For a full listing of the supported Standard Windows test objects, see the Standard Windows section of the Object Model Reference for GUI Testing.
