Mobile Advanced Pane (Test/Business Component Settings Dialog Box / Application Area - Additional Settings Pane)

This pane provides test and component settings for recording and running on Mobile devices.

Option Description
To access

Do one of the following:

  • For a test or component: Select File > Settings > Mobile Advanced node.

  • For an application area: Open the application area and select Additional Settings > Mobile Advanced in the sidebar.
Important information

  • The Mobile Advanced pane is available only if the Mobile Add-in is installed and loaded.

  • In addition to the options in this pane, you can also configure Record and Run settings. For details, see Define Mobile Record and Run Settings.

  • Business components. For business components, the settings displayed in this pane are read-only. To change the Mobile Advanced pane settings for a business component, open its associated application area and use the application area's Additional Settings > Mobile Advanced pane.

If your test has multiple iterations, you must specify how to handle device restart and installation between each iteration of the test.

  • Release devices after each iteration or test. Recommended, to make your device available for others when possible.

  • Restart mobile apps between iterations

  • Reinstall mobile apps between iterations
