Select WSDL Dialog Box

This dialog box enables you to import WSDLs from a file system or OpenText Application Quality Management.

Option Description
To access

  1. Do one of the following:

    • Ensure that an API test or component is in focus in the document pane.
    • In the Solution Explorer, select an API test or component.

  2. Select Import WSDL > Import WSDL from File.

Import a WSDL-based Web service

The following elements are included:

UI Element

Description
File System

Displays WSDLs in the file system.
ALMApplication Components

Displays WSDLs in the ALM repository.

Note: Available only if there is an open connection to OpenText Application Quality Management with the Service Test Management extension.
Import as Server Response

Imports the WSDL as a server response. Its methods will be server responses—not requests. This is useful for asynchronous type Web services.
File name

The contract name:

  • File System. The file name of the WSDL.
  • ALM Application Components. The name of the application component or service.
Files of type

The document type: WSDL extension or All files.
