Installing the Testing Extensibility SDK

The OpenText Functional Testing Extensibility SDK enables you to design a Testing Agent that provides testing capabilities on your environment. The SDK installation includes:

  • An API that you can use to create the Testing Agent

  • The OpenText Functional Testing Extensibility documentation set, including the API reference and this Developer's Guide

  • Sample applications and OpenText Functional Testing Extensibility implemented to extend OpenText Functional Testing capabilities for these applications

    The source files for the applications and their accompanying OpenText Functional Testing Extensibility are included as well. The implementation of the Testing Agents for the sample applications demonstrates ways that OpenText Functional Testing Extensibility can be implemented. You can also refer to these source files for examples of API method usage.

OpenText Functional Testing Extensibility is available for download from the DevOps Cloud Marketplace.

To install the OpenText Functional Testing Extensibility SDK on your computer, extract the files from the SDK archive, TEA SDK for UFT <version>.zip to a folder of your choice. This location is considered the OpenText Functional Testing Extensibility installation folder.

The SDK, including the sample programs, requires 90MB of free hard disk space.
