Deprecated features and technologies
This section provides information about features, protocols, and technologies whose support was partially or fully discontinued, or will be discontinued in future versions of LoadRunner Professional and VuGen.
Removed features
The following feature has been removed:
- TruClient Lite is discontinued (starting from version 12.63). TruClient Lite 12.62 is still available in the Chrome Web Store for a period of time, but will be removed in the future. We recommend that you use TruClient Standalone instead, available also in Micro Focus Marketplace. In addition, you can use TruClient as part of VuGen.

J2EE/.NET Diagnostics integration with LoadRunner Professional is no longer supported (starting from version 2020 SP2).

Planned future removal of LoadRunner functionality
The following information provides advance notice of functionality that will be removed in a future LoadRunner Professional version.
- Using synchronous APIs in JavaScript code (in TruClient). We recommend that you use asynchronous APIs instead. For details, see Use asynchronous APIs in JavaScript code.
- Connections measurement for TruClient. See Performance Metrics.
- Configuring start and end events for a transaction in TruClient. See Insert Transactions.
