Authentication types

Dimensions CM supports the following authentication types:

  • Username and password
  • SSO
  • SSO and common access cards (CAC)

Note: Authentication types are configured by your Dimensions CM administrator.

To use common access cards, when you log in, use the dimensionscac protocol instead of http in the Repository URL field:

dimensionscac://server:[port]/databasename@connection/product/stream/

When prompted, select a CAC certificate.
