Action Dimensions CM requests

In the Visual Studio IDE, you can action a Dimensions CM request to move it to another lifecycle state.

Note: Only users with the appropriate role for a given state can action to another state.

You can action multiple Dimensions CM requests at the same time if they are the same request type, for example, CR.

To action Dimensions CM requests:

  1. Select one or more Dimensions CM requests, right-click, and select Action from the menu. The Action a Request wizard opens.
  2. Select the lifecycle state to which to action the request, and click Next:

    Field Details

Select to action to the next normal lifecycle state. If the next normal lifecycle state has more than one transition, select one from the drop-down list.

Note: Not available in multi-request mode.
