Customize colors
You can set color indicators for the Phase and Status of objects when the objects are displayed in content window lists.
Color-coding
In the desktop client, you can use colors to indicate that an item, request, or baseline is at a particular state when it is displayed in content windows. This color-coding can be used to indicate:
-
The lifecycle state of an item, request, or baseline.
-
The phase of a request in relation to the CM rules defined in the Administration Console (if any).
Example: Suppose that a black on blue color scheme is set for an item status Approved. In this case, when you view a list of items in a content window, all items with the Approved status are displayed in black on blue.
Change colors of phases or statuses
You can set the color of phases or statuses.
Note: You can disable the color-coding in Tools > Preferences > Miscellaneous. In this case, the desktop client displays object entries in black on white. It does not operate with a gray scale.
