Set user interface options
Set the user interface preferences to define default display options for the desktop client.
To set the user interface options:

In the desktop client, select Tools > Preferences.

In the Preferences dialog box, select the User Interface tab.

To set the number of recent projects/streams stored by the desktop client, enter the integer in the Number of recent projects field. Default: 10.
This figure determines the number of previously used projects or streams available for selection in File > Recent Streams and Projects or the Projects/Streams menu in the Project context bar.

To set the number of recent work areas stored by the desktop client, enter the integer in the Number of recent work areas field. Default: 10.
This figure determines the number of previously used work areas available for selection in File > Recent Streams and Projects or the Projects/Streams menu in the Project context bar.
Note: This option applies only to local work areas and does not include areas defined in the Administration Console.

To set the double-click behavior for objects, in the Double-Click Behaviors section, click the field in the Behavior column against the required object, and select an option from the list. This option determines what happens when you double-click a row in a grid .
The following options are available:
Object Possible behaviors Request, Secondary Request Open object, edit attributes, action object, edit object, show history, view properties, open in new window (default). Item Open object, edit attributes, action object, edit object, show history, view properties, open in new window (default). Design Part Edit attributes, view properties, open in new window (default). Baseline Edit attributes, action object, show history, view properties, open in new window (default). Release View properties, open in new window (default). Customer View properties, open in new window (default). Requirement Open object. - Click OK.
