Edit design part attributes

Use this procedure to change one or more design part attributes.

PRIVILEGES: Update Design Part.

To edit design part attributes:

1. In the My Current Project/Stream pane, click Parts and Items. The Select Product and Design Part to Open dialog box opens.

2. Select the product and the root design part and click Open.

3. Select one or more design parts. The design parts must belong to the same product and be of the same category.

   Note: When editing multi-valued attributes for multiple design parts, the behavior depends on the setting of the variable DM_DISABLE_MULTIPLE_EDIT_ATTRS. For details, see Administration.

4. Select Part > Edit Attributes.

5. In the Edit Attributes dialog box, change attribute values as required.

6. Click OK.
