Open button

Select all or a subset of requirement objects and click Open to open them in the desktop client's content window.

The results list contains the current requirements from each Dimensions RM container associated with your current working project/stream. If an individual requirement is current in more than one container, it is listed more than once.

The Open button is displayed only if you are finding requirements to open them. The button is not displayed if the dialog box is used in other context, for example, when finding requirements to relate to other objects.

The normal desktop client object selection criteria apply.

Known issue: You can select a specific requirement from different containers more than once in the Find Now results, and open a requirement display. But the display includes the requirement only once, regardless of how many times you selected it.

The displayed requirement is the one selected last in the results list. Any visible Dimensions RM container data relates to this selection only. To open a requirement from a specific container, we recommend using the Catalog node in My Current Project/Stream.

Note: This issue applies only when using the Find dialog box to open Requirement views.
