Forward a release to a customer

Forward a release to a customer when you want to record the fact that the release has been supplied to that customer.

PRIVILEGES: Forward Release to Customer.

To forward releases to one or more customers:

  1. Select one or more releases, and then select Release > Forward Release.

  2. In the Manage Relationships dialog box, click Add.

  3. Enter the names of the customers or use the Find option:

    1. Click the browse button and use the Find dialog to select them. For more information, see Find objects.

    2. To display the results of your search, select the Find Now tab.

    3. On the Find Now tab, select one or more customers, and clickOK.

  4. Click OK. The customers are added to the Relationships list.

  5. Click OK.

To forward one or more releases to a customers:

  1. Select one or more customers, right-click and select Forward to customer.

  2. In the Manage Relationships dialog box, click Add.

  3. Enter the names of the releases or use the Find option:

    1. Click the browse button and use the Find dialog to select them. For more information, see Find objects.

    2. To view the results of your search, select the Find Now tab.

    3. On the Find Now tab, select one or more releases, and click OK.

  4. Click OK. The releases are added to the Relationships list.

  5. Click OK.
