Review changes for update and deliver to a project
Review the changes to apply when you update a work area from a project or deliver changes to a project.
You can review the changes between a work area and a project, override the default selections, and resolve conflicts.
Toolbar
Use the toolbar to perform the following operations:

Compare the file in the work area with the item file in the repository. |

Hide Unchanged |
Display folders and item files that have the change type Unchanged. |

Hide Ignored |
Display folders and item files that have the resolution Ignored. |

Merge the work area file changes with the changes in the repository. |

Ignore |
Ignore the selected file or folder. |

Use Local |
Use the version of the selected file or folder in the work area. |

Use Repository |
Use the version of the selected file or folder in the repository. |
Files and Folders area
In the Files and Folders area, specify the type of change and resolution.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Change type |
The type of change that has occurred between the work area and the repository, for example, Addition. |
Resolution |
The action to be applied to the change, for example, Accept. |
Defaults tab
On the Defaults tab, specify default options for the changes.

Relate to request(s) |
Select requests to be related In Response To new item revisions created in the repository. |
Design part for new files |
The part specification for the owning design part for new items created in the repository. Displayed only if new items are to be created. |
Permissions after Deliver |
The permission given to the files in the work area after they have been delivered to the repository. Select Make read only or Keep unchanged. |
Permissions after update |
The file permissions after they have been copied to the work area. Select Make read only or Make writable. |
Apply date/time of |
Apply the timestamp to files that are copied to the work area:

Expand substitution variables |
Expand item header substitution variables when a file is updated in the work area. Note: You can expand item headers only if the item type Enable item header substitution is set in the Administration Console. |
Options tab
On the Options tab, override the default options for the selected files or folder.

Requests |
Select the request(s) to be related to a file or folder being delivered to the repository. |
Item Specification |
The specification for a new item. Displayed only if a new item is to be created. |
Item type |
The item type to be assigned to a new item. Displayed only if a new item is to be created. Accept the default or select another item type from list. |
Format |
The file format for a new item. Displayed only if a new item is to be created. |
Design part |
The part specification for the owning design part for new items created in the repository. Displayed only if new items are to be created. |

Properties tab
On the Properties tab, view the details of a selected file or folder.
