OpenText Core Performance Engineering Analysis integration

This section explains how to integrate OpenText Core Performance Engineering Analysis to provide statistics and performance data for your load test runs.

Overview

OpenText Core Performance Engineering Analysis is a cloud-based solution designed for high scale and smart performance analysis. It analyzes and presents metrics and results from performance and load testing data, which are collected from various source models, all within a unified system.

OpenText Core Performance Engineering Analysis is part of the Performance Engineering module.

This integration enables you to stream test results directly to Analysis and view a comprehensive, real-time picture of your application's quality and coverage through an intuitive interface.

Data is supported from scripts running on Linux and Windows on-premises load generators.

Configure data streaming

This section explains how to stream information about your load test run to Analysis after project assignment is configured.

To stream test run data:

  1. This integration is off by default. To enable it on the tenant, purchase a license and contact your Account Manager or Customer Success Manager.

  2. Assign the project to OpenText Core Performance Engineering Analysis in the Projects area. For details, see To stream data to Analysis:.

    After assignment, the project and its users are synchronized automatically.

  3. Open a test in the Load tests tab and click Test settings.

  4. In the Data and logs section, select Stream to OpenText Core Performance Engineering Analysis.

  5. Run the test. For details, see Run a load test.

  6. Analyze a test run.

    1. After the integration is configured, click the Navigation menu Navigation menu and select Performance Engineering > Core Performance Engineering Analysis.

    2. Select the test run that you want to view and analyze. For details, see the OpenText Core Performance Engineering Analysis Help Center.

    Note: If registration in Analysis fails during run initialization due to an unexpected issue or a limitation breach, the test run continues, but streaming is blocked. If a test run is stopped in Analysis during runtime, the test continues to run as planned.
