The Apache monitor shows the measurements and server properties that can be monitored on the Apache web server during the test run.
Set up the Apache monitor
This task describes how to configure the Apache monitor.
If your monitor accesses a server outside of your internal network, you may need to set up a web proxy to collect data from it. For details, see Prerequisites.
From the LoadRunner Enterprise navigation toolbar, click and select Monitors (under Assets).
In the test resource tree, select an existing monitor profile, or click New Monitor Profile and create a new monitor profile.
In the Monitor Profile page, click Add Monitor and select Windows Resources.
In the Windows Resources page, enter the server details:
Click Get Counters to display a list of available metrics and counters, and select the relevant measurements that you want to monitor.
# Busy Servers
The number of servers in the Busy state.
# Idle Servers
The number of servers in the Idle state.
Apache CPU Usage
The percentage of time the CPU is utilized by the Apache server.
The HTTP request rate.
The rate at which data bytes are sent from the web server.
This task describes how to modify the Apache default server properties that are defined in the monitor configuration file.
Edit the following parameters after the Delimiter=: statement:
Server statistics information URL.
Server port number.
Rate (milliseconds) at which the monitor will poll the server for the statistics information. If this value is greater than 1000, LoadRunner Enterprise will use it as its sampling rate. Otherwise, it will use the sampling rate defined in the Monitors tab of the Options dialog box.
Save and close the file.
