Customize widgets

This topic describes how to customize widgets so that you can view the data displayed in the most effective way possible.

Personalize the display

You can personalize the display by adjusting granularity, selecting the graph format, controlling the appearance of the individual points plotted in the graph, and selecting the columns you want to see in the measurements table.

Your customized settings and widgets are automatically saved when you sign out, and restored them the next time you sign back on.

Change the granularity of the data

To ensure readability and clarity, there is an automatic adjustment of the minimum granularity of graphs. The higher the granularity, the more detailed the results. For example, use a high granularity to see the intervals in which no hits occurred. However, using a lower granularity is useful to study the overall Vuser behavior throughout the scenario.

You can make graphs easier to read and analyze by changing the granularity (scale) of the x-axis. You increase granularity by decreasing the size of the intervals on the x-axis, thereby displaying more detailed results.

To set granularity:

  1. Click the widget's Expand View button .

  2. In the panel above the graph, expand the dropdown menu next to Granularity. To ensure readability and clarity, the minimum granularity of graphs is automatically adjusted. If you require more granularity than the stated minimum, zoom into a section of the graph. For details on zooming into a section of a graph, see Enlarge a section of the graph.

  3. Enter the granularity of the x-axis in seconds.

  4. To restore the default granularity, click the Close button X next to the field.

Change the graph display

You can select the graph display and control the appearance of the individual points plotted on the graph.

You can select the way in which the graph shows the elapsed time on the x-axis by switching between the Relative to start time / Absolute time options.

    Time option Details
Relative to start time Displays the time relative to the beginning of the test run.
