View the dashboard
Vusers generate data as they perform transactions during test runs. The dashboard enables you to analyze the transaction performance and status of a selected run for a load test.
Dashboard overview
The dashboard provides a variety of customizable widgets to analyze performance of your load test run.
To access the dashboard:
-
In the Runs page, select a run to analyze from the Runs List. The Summary page of the run opens.
-
Click the Dashboard tab.
Dashboard areas
The dashboard contains the following.
Area | Description |
---|---|
<summary bar> |
The summary bar includes:
|
Dashboard tabs |
These tabs consist of customizable widgets that display performance data for the run. For details, see Widgets. |
Metrics pane |
The metrics tree pane shows which metrics are displayed in the active widget and provides configuration options. For details, see Metrics pane. |
Dashboard tabs
The first time you open the dashboard for a run, a tab Dashboard 1 with four widgets is displayed. Each widget contains a single metric:
-
Running Vusers
-
Throughput
-
Total Errors
-
Hits per second
You can customize the metrics displayed in the widgets in the tab, add up to 10 widgets, and change the layout. You can also create multiple dashboard tabs, with each tab showing different content.
Tabs are not persistent between test runs. This means that after you create a dashboard for a load test run, any tabs you create, the initial tab and any additional ones, will not be available for other runs of the same load test.
The following table describes how to manage the dashboard tabs.
Action | Task |
---|---|
Create a tab |
When the limit of 10 tabs has been reached, the Add dashboard button + becomes inactive. |
Rename a tab |
Click the Edit button |
Close a tab |
Click the Close button X on the tab. Note:
