Stream performance test results

This section covers how to stream your performance testing results during runtime. Alternatively, you can upload your test results after the test run ends. For details, see Upload test runs.

Generate an access key

Access keys provide client IDs and secret keys that are required to connect OpenText Enterprise Performance Engineering and OpenText Professional Performance Engineeringto OpentText Core Performance Engineering Analysis.

To create a new access key:

  1. Log into OpentText Core Performance Engineering Analysis. For details, see Analyze a test run.

  2. In the analysis tool sidebar menu, go to Administration > Core Performance Engineering Platform.

  3. Click the Create button .

  4. Copy the client ID and secret key.

    Caution: This is the only time you will have access to the secret key. It is displayed once only, when the key is generated. When you create an access key pair, save it in a secure location. If you lose your secret key, you must delete the access key and create a new one.

  1. Close the window.

  1. For each access key, the following columns are displayed:
    Client key: The client ID issued as the access key.

    Last Access: The date and time that the access key was last accessed.

    Creation time: The date and time that the access key was generated.

    Note: Note: Each user can generate up to two access keys.

To revoke an access key:

  1. Select the key that you want to revoke.

  2. Click the Revoke button .

  3. In the dialog box, click Yes. The access key is deleted from the database.

Integrate your performance engineering testing tool

Before you can analyze test runs, you must configure your testing tool instance with your OpentText Core Performance Engineering Analysis tenant details. Then, you can set specific load test scenarios to stream results directly.
