Tenant management

The Tenant management area provides administrators with centralized control over projects, users, and access keys in your Analysis tenant.

Project selection

Use the project selector in the masthead to switch between projects. All displayed data, including runs, dashboards, and reports, is scoped to the selected project.

For details on how to select a project, see Select a project.

Projects

The Projects tab displays all projects across your performance engineering testing tools. Use this tab to view and manage projects and assign users.

When a project is assigned in the source product, the project and its users are automatically synchronized. Project roles are enforced after synchronization completes, and project visibility is updated during the next synchronization cycle.

To view and manage projects:

  1. Click the Navigation menu , and select Tenant management.

  2. In the Tenant management area, select the Projects tab.

  3. Use search to find projects by project name, ID, source project ID, or description.

  4. To manage users, select a project:

    • For the System project (each Analysis tenant has one), click the Manage users button Manage users to add or remove users:

      • To add users, click the User button Add User, then select a user from the list or search by email or user ID. Repeat as needed.

      • To remove users, select a user and click the Delete (x) button. Repeat as needed.

      • Click Confirm to apply your changes.

    • For other project types, user and role management is handled in the source tool (OpenText Core Performance Engineering or OpenText Enterprise Performance Engineering). In Tenant management, you can only view users and roles. To make changes, go to Tenant management in the source tool, and perform the updates there. You must have administrator permissions in that source tool.

Users

The Users tab displays all users in your Analysis tenant and the projects to which they are assigned. Use this tab to search for users by user ID or email address, or filter by project assignment. To manage users (add or remove) assigned to projects, see the Projects section for detailed steps.

To view users and their assigned projects:

  1. Click the Navigation menu , and select Tenant management.

  2. In the Tenant management area, select the Users tab.

  3. Use search to find users by user ID or email address. You can also use the filter to display users assigned to a specific project.

  4. Select a user to open the details side panel. The side panel includes a summary section with User ID and Tenant administrator (Yes/No), and a projects section that lists projects assigned to the user and their role in each.

Note: Only one user can be selected at a time.

Access keys

The Access keys tab is used to generate access keys for streaming performance test results from OpenText Enterprise Performance Engineering only.

For a single OpenText Enterprise Performance Engineering tenant connected to a single OpenText Core Performance Engineering Analysis tenant, one access key is typically sufficient for the integration. For multiple integrations, additional keys might be required.

Note: For OpenText Professional Performance Engineering and OpenText Enterprise Performance Engineering versions 26.1 and earlier, generate access keys from Administration > Core Performance Engineering Platform > Access keys. For details, see Generate an access key.

To generate an access key for OpenText Enterprise Performance Engineering:

  1. Click the Navigation menu , and select Tenant management.

  2. In the Tenant management area, select the Access keys tab.

The access keys list displays all available access keys.

  3. Click the Create button Create.

Each user can generate up to two access keys; this allows for rotation. If two keys exist, Create is unavailable and you must revoke an existing key before a new one can be created. For details, see To revoke an access key:.

  4. In the Access key created dialog, copy the Client ID and Client Secret.

Caution: The client secret is displayed only once, at the time the access key is created. Save it in a secure location. If the client secret is lost, the access key must be deleted and a new one created.

  5. Close the dialog.
