The following new features and enhancements are introduced in PPM 10.0.4.

Portfolio Management enhancements

Platform enhancements
The following enhancements were added to the platform module.
Support custom validations for more OOTB fields |
You can now use custom validations for more OOTB fields. For details, see Use custom validations for system fields. |
Apply Bouncy Castle cryptographic libraries for FIPS compliance |
PPM now applies the Bouncy Castle cryptographic libraries, instead of the RSA cryptographic libraries, for FIPS 140-2 compliance. For details, see Apply FIPS 140-2 compliant encryption algorithm for OpenText PPM. |
Mobility Access supports OAuth authentication for Microsoft Exchange Online |
PPM Mobility Access, which enables you to process requests from email, now also supports OAuth authentication for Microsoft Exchange Online. For details, see Configure Mobility Access. |
Demand Management enhancements
The following enhancements were added to the Demand Management module.
New filters in request search page

The following filters were added in the request search page:

Canceling a request also cancels the associated staffing profile |
When you cancel a request, its associated staffing profile is also cancelled. For details, see Cancel requests. |
PPM-ServiceNow integration
You can now integrate PPM requests with ServiceNow entities.

Time Management enhancements
The following enhancements were added to the Time Management module.
Notify time approvers of reworked time sheet lines |
You can now configure PPM to send notifications to a time approver when a time sheet line approved by the approver is reworked. For details, see Time rework notification. |
Display time sheet/time sheet line notes in Approve Time page |
The Approve Time page now displays the notes entered for time sheets and time sheet lines. For details, see Approve or reject time. |
Financial Management enhancements
The following enhancements were added to the Financial Management module.
New cost factor: Cost Category |
You can now use the Cost Category cost factor to calculate the actual cost for work plan tasks and forecast cost for staffing profile positions. For details, see Cost factor applications. |
Currency updates |
PPM implemented the following updates to currencies:

Administration enhancement
You can now disable multiple users at a time.

Report enhancement
When a user is disabled, the reports scheduled by that user can now be skipped and cancelled automatically.
This feature is enabled when the SKIP_SCHEDULED_REPORT_WHEN_SUBMITTER_DISABLED and DELETE_SCHEDULED_REPORT_WHEN_SUBMITTER_DISABLED_FOR_DAYS parameters are set to true.

Portlet enhancement
A new option, Projects Managed by Myself, was added to the preference page of the Project Gantt and Project Timelines portlets. It enables you to show only the projects managed by the current logged in user in these portlets on a shared dashboard page.
