New top navigation menu

LoadRunner Cloud has a new top navigation menu in the banner, which you can use to:

  • Search the LoadRunner Cloud Help Center.

  • Access the tenant management area.

  • View notifications and exports.

  • Access LoadRunner Cloud's scripting tools, CI plugins, agents, streaming accounts, and Public APIs.

Additional links and functions are also available in the new navigation menu, which gives you better access to useful resources from wherever you are working in LoadRunner Cloud.

Enhanced JMeter integration

When you add a JMeter script that contains more than one enabled thread group to a load test, LoadRunner Cloud creates a separate script for each thread group.

Upgraded support for Selenium and Gatling

LoadRunner Cloud now supports Selenium version 4.1.0 and Gatling version 3.7.4.

Reload a script from Git

You can now reload a script from a Git repository, even if it was originally loaded from the file system.

Enhanced Azure DevOps integration

The ID of a test run started by the Azure DevOps extension is now exposed in a variable. This enables you to query LoadRunner Cloud's public APIs to retrieve additional metrics, when the run has finished.

Enhanced DevWeb support

DevWeb scripts now support the option to use the pacing configured in runtime settings.

Restart failed Vusers

For VuGen type scripts, with the exception of DevWeb scripts, you can now restart Vusers that failed during the test run. When restarting the Vusers, you can select the original ramp up configuration, or restart all the failed Vusers at once. To enable this option, submit a service request.

New public API operations

New capabilities were added to the LoadRunner Cloud public API. These capabilities enable you to retrieve the labels of load tests and scripts using the public API calls {testId} and {scriptId}.

Protocols support update

LoadRunner Cloud now supports RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) and RTE (Remote Terminal Emulator) scripts on Windows on-premises load generators.

It also supports WinSocket scripts on Linux and Windows on-premises load generators.

Assign multiple data files to scripts

You can now assign multiple data files to a single script. The assignment can be made in Assets > Scripts or in the Scripts area of a load test.

Enhanced Transaction Summary table capabilities

You can now drag, stretch, or shrink the time slider to zoom to a specific time frame in the Transaction Summary table. You can also zoom to a specific time frame by manually changing the start and end time counters located above the table.

Load test configuration history (beta)

You can now track the changes made by yourself, or by any other user assigned to the project, to a load test's configuration.

This option is currently in beta and is only visible when enabled for your tenant via a service request.

Refresh view for load generators

A new Refresh button lets you update the on-premises load generator view, to show the current connectivity status.

Enhanced License Summary report

Admins can view the number of dedicated IPs entitled to the tenant in the Project Management > License > Summary tab. The grid shows the type of subscription and the number of IPs.

Updated system configuration for Java and Selenium protocols

The maximum amount of Vusers (Max Vusers) for the Java protocol has been updated as follows:

  • The Java protocol has been increased from 500 to 1500.

  • The Selenium protocol has been increased from 10 to 15.
