  • This string must match the passphrase defined in the preferences of OpenText UFT Agent Safari extension on the Mac computer.

  • The passphrase can be empty, but a long and complicated passphrase provides better security.

SSL CA certificate file

Specify the path to the CA certificate used by UFT One to validate the SSL certificate file received from the OpenText UFT Agent Safari extension after initiating a remote connection to the Mac computer.

  • The CA certificate file must be accessible to UFT One when it sets up the connection.
  • Certificate bundles are also supported.
  • The CA certificate file is only relevant if SSL is used for the remote connection. This is specified when the connection is initiated by selecting the Use SSL option, available when you configure the remote connection.

The SSL certificate file and SSL private key file must be specified in the OpenText UFT Agent Safari extension's preferences on the Mac computer.
