Testing Your Support for Highlighting Objects

After implementing the methods required to support highlighting objects, you can test this functionality of your Testing Agent.

To test your support for highlighting objects:

  1. Do the following, as described in Testing Your Support for the Object Spy or OIC:

    1. Ensure that the Testing Agent and UFT One are closed and upgrade the Testing Agent.

    2. Open UFT One and run the Testing Agent.

    3. Run an application with objects from your environment.

  2. Make sure your application is open to the window containing the object you want to highlight.

  3. Select the object you want to highlight in your object repository.

  4. Click the Highlight in Application button or select View > Highlight in Application. Verify that the selected object is highlighted in the application.
