Run tests using OpenText Functional Testing Lab
To run OpenText Functional Testing for Developers tests from your computer on devices that are managed using OpenText Functional Testing Lab, you must set the details of the mobile server account that you plan to use for the test runs. You can use basic username and password authentication or an API access key provided by OpenText Functional Testing Lab. For details, see Connect to the mobile device lab.
We recommend installing OpenText Functional Testing Lab on a secure server. For details, see the Configure SSL to work with OpenText Functional Testing Lab.
By default, OpenText Functional Testing for Developers employs Full SSL (Strict). However, you can override this setting by selecting the Do not validate certificate option in order to ignore certificate errors. For details, see OpenText Functional Testing Lab settings. This option presents a security risk. We recommend that you use your discretion selecting this option.
