Overview

OpenText Core Software Delivery Platform supports Value Stream Management (VSM) practices, which aim to optimize your value delivery process.

Using VSM, you identify your value streams and map them. You then track bottlenecks and waste, and locate where you have shorter cycle times and greater velocity, enabling you to deliver faster and with greater value.

Implement VSM

VSM is implemented using the following tools:

  • Track waste and identify bottlenecks. For details, see Track waste.

  • Measure cycle and flow time. For details, see Cycle and flow times.

  • Use the dashboard to monitor VSM metrics. Select the Value Stream Management dashboard template for a recommended set of VSM widgets. For details, see Dashboard templates.
