Start the server

After defining your configuration settings, start OpenText Core Software Delivery Platform.

OS Command
Linux
  1. Log in as the root user.

  2. Run: systemctl start octane

  3. To follow the server's boot process, run: tail -f /opt/octane/log/wrapper.log

Windows

Select Start > OpenText Core Software Delivery Platform > Start OpenText Core Software Delivery Platform Server.

Alternatively, start the OpenText Core Software Delivery Platform service.

Verify installation

The installation is complete only when the "Server is ready!" message is shown in the wrapper log file.

Linux /opt/octane/log/wrapper.log
Windows C:\Program Files\octane\log\wrapper.log

If you do not see this message, correct the errors shown in the log.
