Create component integrator pools

You can create and modify component integrator pools and add component integrators to them.

For an overview of component integrators, see Manage component integrators.

Create a component integrator pool

When a component integrator connects to the server, it is automatically added to the default pool. You can create your own pools and add component integrators to them.

Note: To create and manage component integrator pools, you need a Web UI role with the Component Integrators permission. Administrators and Configuration Engineers have this permission by default. For details, see Web UI roles and UI security.

To create a pool of component integrators:

  1. In Deployment Automation, go to Management > Component Integrators.

  2. Select the Pools tab.

  3. In the Pools tab, click Create.

  4. In the Create Component Integrator Pool dialog box, enter a unique name and an optional description for the pool.

  5. Click Save.

After creating the pool, add component integrators to it.
