Install agents from command prompt

You can install agents from a command-line interface. Use it as an alternative to the interactive agent installer.

To install an agent from a command prompt:

1. From the Software Licensing and Downloads portal (requires login), download the agents installation package: microfocus_da-other<version>.zip.
2. Extract this file: microfocus_da-agents.zip.
3. From the command prompt, navigate to the directory with the installation files.

4. Run the script file for your platform:

   Windows	As a local system user, run install-agent.bat.
   UNIX/Linux	As a user with full access rights to the installation location, run install-agent.sh.

5. Follow the instructions at the command prompt.

For this method of installation, you need to install the agent's JRE manually.
