Mail Events window
This topic describes the areas and options of the Mail Events window in the Administration Console.
To open Mail Events, go to Administration Console > Users, Groups, Roles and Privileges > Mail events.
Mail Events toolbar
The Mail Events toolbar contains the toolbar with buttons for subscribing users and groups to mail events:
|Subscribe groups to a mail notification.
|Subscribe users to a mail notification.
Mail Events navigation area
The Mail Events navigation pane lists mail events in the base database, grouped by object class.
In the navigation pane, you can perform the following operations:
To display a summary of all mail events, select the top-level icon (base database node).
To view a summary of all mail events for an object class, click the object class, for example, Baseline or Project.
To display information about a specific mail event, select the event under the object class.
Mail Events content area
The information displayed in the content pane depends on what you select in the navigation pane.
When you select the top-level icon (base database node) or an object class in the navigation pane, you can:
View a list of mail events, with associated descriptions and creation and update details. To select all mail events on the page, click Select All .
Display the list of mail events as an HTML page to print or save.
Display the list of mail events as comma-separated values to save as a text file.
Sort the list of mail events by clicking the column headings.
When you select a mail event, the content pane displays the following sections:
|Displays a summary of the mail event, such as the description, creation and update details, event type, templates used for the email notification, and event context.
Displays the groups subscribed to the mail event, and subscription details.
For promotion and demotion subscriptions, group subscriptions for specific stages are displayed. For Deploy and Rollback subscriptions, areas are also displayed.
You can subscribe and unsubscribe groups to the mail event.
Displays a list of users subscribed to the mail event, and subscription details.
For promotion and demotion subscriptions, user subscriptions for specific stages are displayed. For Deploy and Rollback subscriptions, areas are also displayed.
You can subscribe and unsubscribe users to the mail event.
