Version Branch Names main window

This topic describes the areas and options of the Version Branch Names section in the Administration Console.

To open Version Branch Names, go to Administration Console > Configuration Object Management > Version branch names.

The Version Branch Names main window contains the following areas:

Area Description
Menu area toolbar Use the toolbar buttons to define a new version branch or delete one or more selected version branches.
Navigation area

To view a list of all the version branches in the base database, select the top-level Branches node.

Select a version branch to view and edit its details in the content pane.
Content area

When you select the top-level Branches node in the navigation pane, the content pane displays a summary of version branches in the base database. You can perform the following operations in the content pane:

  • Select a version branch to edit it.

  • Display a summary of version branches to print or save.

  • Display the list of version branches as comma-separated values to save as a text file.

  • Sort the list of version branches by column headings. Click Select All  to select all the branch names on the page.
